Course Details

One of the biggest challenges faced by today's teachers and principals is that of motivating students who don't care. This course begins by examining these key issues:

* Different types of motivation
* Student and teacher attitudes toward learning
* Perceptions of learning
* Activation of the cognitive system at various levels of motivation

Finally, it provides models for developing motivation in the classroom, taking into consideration various learning states and discipline problems. Various methods of reaching diverse learners are also discussed.
