Students will visit the San Francisco and explore the city and some of its significant features/areas. From China Town to the Golden Gate bridge to the Gold Rush Museum in Auburn, students will have the opportunity to see first-hand the transformation of San Francisco from a gold rush town to a sprawling metropolis. Students will have the opportunity to examine the impact of migration, immigration, the gold rush, economic development, and culture on the past, present and future of San Francisco.
