Through this course, you are transported back in time where you relive those glorious days while tracing the personal triumphs, failures, and evolution of one of its most brilliant and beautiful minds, Leonardo da Vinci. Although he describes himself as omo senza lettere (a man without letters), his thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and his relentless observations and explorations in the areas of anatomy, architecture, astronomy, botany, geology, hydraulics, mathematics, mechanics, optics, painting, sculpture, and weaponry were groundbreaking. For these reasons, it is understandable why this remarkably ambitious man is considered to be one of the most fascinating geniuses in history. Through an in-depth analyses into Leonardo's passions, philosophies, and talents, you will gain intimate insight into his brilliant mind which is forever questioning and appreciating life. This journey is explored with such vibrancy that you will be anxious to share his tremendous life, vision, and legacy with your students.

g. Understand why this strong, charming, and confident genius was notoriously unconcerned about finishing his commissioned work
