Course #: EDUC_720E

Semester Credits: 3
Cost: $420.00

Are you looking to recapture lost confidence in being a dynamic teacher? Do you find that your lessons are outdated and out of touch? Is there a sense that your students are in need to be challenged academically? UDL is a great opportunity for you to discover how to create opportunities for learners to internalize the process of learning itself, rather than any specific content, and thereby become competent and confident at learning itself! This course will prepare you and your classroom to make a welcome change to the UDL experience. As you experience this change you will gain deep knowledge and understanding of the main components of UDL. You also will learn how to adapt your current unit plans, classroom management and assessment to best reflect the core tenets of UDL. You will also explore and learn how to implement inclusion-based UDL students with IEPs in various classroom settings. When faced with these demands it is helpful to have a different step-by-step instructional method to fill in the gaps, differentiate for all students, while navigating educator challenges while having fun!
